York School of Dance was established to offer high quality dance training to students of all levels. Emphasis is placed on dance and music appreciation with a strong focus on performance. Students are encouraged to explore dance as a journey, not only as a set discipline.
York School of Dance is entering its 23rd year of instruction in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap, and Acro. Our ballet staff, headed by Siobhan Brennan-Donnelly, is a graduate of Canada's National Ballet School, bringing a professional training atmosphere to a non-competitive setting. Our classes start for dancers 2 years of age, with a Ballet for Tots parent-assisted program, and extends to students in High School. Students have the ability to attend multiple classes, participate in a Holiday Recital and a Final Recital in a Theatre. We also offer Private classes and Camps. York School of Dance is a proud supporter of local fundraisers and truly has built a strong Lawrence Park presence since 2001.
How to Register:
1. Visit www.yorkschoolofdance.com. Click on the REGISTRATION tab in the top bar.
2. Select a DAY / LOCATION by clicking on the photo.
3. Once a DAY / LOCATION has been selected, select your class by using the Drop Down menu under CLASS.
4. Once you have selected a CLASS, select what TERM you would like to sign up for by using the Drop Down menu under TERM (i.e; 1, 2, FULL).
5. Once you have selected both a CLASS and TERM, Click ADD TO CART.
6. An INFORMATION FORM will then appear, in which you will fill out the following information. Once completed, click ADD TO CART at the bottom of form.
7. A CHECKOUT CART will then appear at the top right corner of the Website. When you are done signing up for classes you will click the Checkout Cart, and it will read out a summary of the Classes you have signed up for. Once you are happy with your class selection, click CHECKOUT. It will then redirect you to a page in order to pay for your registration.
